Falun Dafa at the Cork Parade

Practitioners of Falun Dafa taking part in St Patrick’s Day parade on Monday. According to their site Falun Dafa “emphasizes the cultivation of moral qualities in daily life”. Now who couldn’t do without some of that! Apparently they have classes in Cork too if you’re interested.

Busy outside Dunnes Stores

Dunnes Stores

The road outside Dunnes chock a block with traffic on a dark evening in December 2005.  Merchants Quay shopping centre has been there for as long as I can remember but before this it was just another road of houses, pubs and shops.   Anybody have photos of the old Merchants Quay?
