Cork was really packed for Patrick’s Day Parade yesterday, so much so that I could barely find a spot to get a photo. I reckon this kid (along with all the rest of them on their parents shoulders) had the best viewpoint. He seemed to be enjoying it anyway!
Happy St Patrick’s Day from all on Patrick’s Street today in Cork. Would you believe that it didn’t rain!? It was bitterly cold but the lack of rain meant a bumper crowd in town for the parade today.
“Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” as Gaeilge. I like the way these lamps on Patrick Street are used throughout the year for practical purposes although I wasn’t a fan of them when they were first installed.
