Kite Surfing

Kite-surfer bouncing off the waves in Inchydoney Beach a week ago.  It looked amazing and the guy was seemingly in full control at all times which was more amazing.

If you like this kind of photo, check out Treasa’s site for really excellent surfing shots.  I must start a zoom lens fund at some stage, care to contribute?

Elvis

“Elvis” catches the ball on Inchydoney beach last weekend.  His owners are to the right, you can see their long wintry shadows in the sand.  It probably would have been a better photo with them in the frame but, you may have noticed, my policy is not to include people unless I have got their permission.

Elvis is a little fuzzy in the picture, I shot ths at 1/160 but it obviously needed a much faster shutter speed.

Inchydoney Beach

Cork was basked in glorious sunshine last weekend so we took the opportunity to go for a walk on the beach.  It was still freezing but it was nice to get out after so much rain and bad weather lately.  In fact, January has been the wettest January in 20 years so a rare day of sun was very welcome!  Brave souls were out surfing, it was cold enough just walking along the beach!
