<p>The church here is tiny with just enough room for one person to go up the aisle.  I played the uilleann pipes at a wedding here when I was barely a teenager for my neighbour who was teaching me the violin at the time.  Brave move (for her!) but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I still play some of the tunes I learned for that wedding to this day.  I no longer play the violin though!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.pana-vision.org/2008/12/22/the-apple-of-my-eye/" title="The Apple of my Eye"><img src="http://www.pana-vision.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/a20081101_9999_6_v3.jpg" width="600" height="410" alt="The Apple of my Eye" style="float:none;padding:0 0px 0px 0;" ><br clear="all" /></a><p>It&#8217;s been a while since I posted.  Since the last post, I&#8217;ve got a new laptop, so to celebrate I tried a new photo editing technique which I&#8217;ve seen in quite a few places.  I tried the tips used on <a href="http://kesouthall.co.uk/blog/?p=178">The Almond Croissant Diaries</a>.  Unfortunately it didn&#8217;t quite translate to Gimp for me so I used <a href="http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/Selective_Color/">this tutorial</a> on Gimp.org.  The photo in question is actually the one and only apple from the apple tree in my back garden.  You may see hints of grey in the coloured areas, which apparently is similiar to my full head of <em>non-grey</em> hair!</p>
