A familiar statue in the English Market which looks surprisingly like the man behind the counter! Apparently it was bought around 10 years ago in Casey’s Furniture shop.

Animals on Pillars

What’s the deal with putting animal statues on your pillars? There was a spate of them down in Skibbereen, some owls were perched on another set of pillars close to where this was taken. What’s your favourite (read: worst) pillar adornment?
