<p>Of course he&#8217;s not actually going to France, for any non-Irish people passing through here there was an ad on Irish tv about taking a horse to France to somehow advertise Kerrygold butter.  Boards.ie have a discussion on how annoying that ad was <a href="http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/archive/index.php/t-195523-p-6.html">here</a>.</p>

<p>A few happy swans munching food thrown for them (indeed, sometimes it was thrown <em><strong>at</strong></em> them!) taken on a recent photo walk at The Lough organised by Donncha.  There was a good turn out and it was good to meet other bloggers seeing as I never make it up to the Blog Awards in Dublin.  Kevin has a <a href="http://www.latchiko.com/247.shtml">photo up today</a> already as does <a href="http://inphotos.org/the-swans-wings/">Donncha</a> (<a href="http://inphotos.org/that-bread-is-mine/">two actually</a>!) and if you haven&#8217;t seen enough swans just yet there are loads more in the following sets of photos</p>

<p>&#8220;Elvis&#8221; catches the ball on Inchydoney beach last weekend.  His owners are to the right, you can see their long wintry shadows in the sand.  It probably would have been a better photo with them in the frame but, you may have noticed, my policy is not to include people unless I have got their permission.</p>
<p>Elvis is a little fuzzy in the picture, I shot ths at 1/160 but it obviously needed a much faster shutter speed.</p>
